One day, a buddy of mine and I were discussing where to go on a camping trip. We typically go to the National Forest in Arkansas or the National Wildlife refuge in Oklahoma. One of us said said there should be something closer. What is in our own backyard? Well, this spawned an idea in all of us. How much have we explored what is really around us? Thus the idea was born to really rediscover Texas. Along the way in our many travels, we discovered another aspect of this great state. WINE!

This web site has since grown out of the love of Texas wines. It seems the story is actually just beginning with the wines that are produced in Texas. And it is a true under dog story at that! Texas Growers have all kinds of obstacles to battle just to get the wine to consumers. Despite these distractions, Texas Growers and Winemakers are creating some really great wines and are actually flourishing in the within state.
